Our story
It’s been a long road to this celebration! We first met in the Fall of 2012 through a mutual friend. Our love of the Gators originally brought us together to watch football.
Over the last 13 years together we’ve gone through multiple jobs, school, loving and losing our dog, multiple government shutdowns, Covid and buying a house.
While in Prague in March 2025 we decided that we would make it official and get married - nothing like uncertainty to make decisions like that easy!
On May 25, 2025, we self-officiated our wedding on our deck at our house. While we are officially married, we still wanted to celebrate with our friends and family. Please join us!

We will be celebrating at Ambar with dinner and dancing. This Balkan inspired restaurant is located in the heart of Shaw and is an easy walk from Shaw-Howard metro or Mt. Vernon Metro. There’s no dress code - wear what makes you happy and is festive! Kids are welcome!
Sunday, April 12
We are planning to get together somewhere on Sunday to say goodbye to everyone - TBD on location!
